Skittle Colours

 Aim:

I want to find what happens when you put skittles in water.

Method:

Equipment

.  8x skittles

. Warm Water

. Petri dish

. Beaker 

. Paper towel

.  

Instructions:

1. Get your equipment
2. Put the skittles into the petri dish
3. spread them around the sides
4. Clean the beaker
5. GENTLY pour the water in the middle of the petri dish so that it is full

Observe what happens

when you put the water in the dish the skittles dissolve into the middle and were mixed. 

Why did the color dissolve?

Because all of the molecules spreed like when someone gets scared they freak out so that's why. But when it dissolve into the middle. And

Gummy Bear Osmosis

Aim:

I want to find out what happens when gummy bears are put in liquids. 

Method: 

Equipment

. Gummy Bears

. Salt Water

. Water

. Sugar Water

. 2 petri dishers

. Marker pen

. Electronic Scales

Instructions

1. Get your equipment 
2. Were safety glasses 
3. Using a maker pen, write your name and the conditions and the weight of gummy bear.
4. Do the experiment

This is what will happen when you pore the water into your containers

now what for 24 hours. And see the results.

Results

The water gummy bear gained the most wait.

Why? 

 There are little bites of holes in them like a gate way. The water molecules and the salt and sugar molecules are different sizes. The Water molecules are smaller than the salt and sugar molecules so the water molecules can go in the bear. To make it expand. And the salt and sugar are bigger so they can't go in

Hands On Fire

 Aim:

I want to find out how to light my hands on fire SAFELY

Method:

Equipment

      . Lighter 

      . Water

      . Gas

      .Tray

      . Hose

      . Liquid soap

      . Safety glasses 

   Instructions

1. Get the equipment
2.  Fill the tray with water
3. Spurt the liquid soap in the tray and mix it around 
4. Connect the hose to the gas tap
5. Turn the gas on and make gas bubbles.
6. Put on safety glasses 
7. Wet your arms and hands on fire
8. Scope the bubbles with both hands
9. Take 2 steps forward 
10. Hold the bubbles as far away as possible
11. Hold the bubbles in font of your face
12. Light the bubbles on fire
13. Have a lab coat
14. Don't panic 
15. Slowly open your hands
16. If you panic your dead

    Results 

Here are somethings that happened

I could see Fire it had so much colors like red, yellow, And it was so bright.After lighting my hands on fire the fire made a mushroom cloud then went up in the air. It stopped in mid air because it had no gas

I could feel

The thing I liked the most in term 1 was meting new people and new friends. 

The most challenging thing for m in term 1 was coming to school on the first day.
