Year 6 Living Dinner

 Yesterday the year 6s went to there dinner last night. We all had chicken and ham an other stuff. Here are some of the photos i'm in.

On Monday we went to a farm park and we fed a cow and his name was patches. And some people milked the cow. And her name was eve it was fun at the farm but that was not the only thing we did we also fed the animals. Then after that we walked up a hill for 45 mins and when we got to the top of the hill every one was happy because they were tired. I pored water on my head on the way there. The first thing we did was make our beds the we went to a space called Auditorium And talked about what the first activity was. Mine first one was swimming and seconded one was monorail and other stuff. At night we played spot light my favorite thing was archery and air rifles. And on the last day we played animal survival. Today my reading class did a quiz. i got 100%. 

Lock down window

On Monday my home room did a lock down window. we had to put the things that we did during lock down. i did game's movies and more. My favorite thing on there is Netflix i really didn't watch it much but i watched Disney+. It was fun But the worse thing was level 4. We couldn't have KFC,Maccas and Burger King. But when it went in to level 3 it was a hole anther life time we actually KFC, McDonald's and Burger King i couldn't stop saying yay for 10 minuets. But i did one and here is my photo.

Arrays

In maths  we have been learning to solve multiplication problems by using repeated addition  or our times tables.Mrs  Mcguinnety gave us a sheet with smiley faces on it and we had to cut them up in to rectangles.We then had to work out how many faces there were in each one using repeated addition ot times tables.

How to tell the time

Today I learned  how to tell the tine using a clock and there are to hands you need to look for. They are the hour hand and the minute had. The minute hand is the long hand and the hour hand is the small hand.

This is half past 1 because the hour hand is past the 1
and the minute hand is on the 6 which makes is half past 1

This is 2 o'clock because the hour hand is on the 2

and the minute hand is on 12 which makes it 2 o'clock

This is 2 o'clock because the minute hand is on the 12 This time is half past 2 because the hour hand is on the 6

what happen last night?

Last night I was playing fortnite I got like 40 wins. It was fun I started playing at 8:30pm and I played for a long time and then I went to bed at 6:30am and then I woke up at 3:00pm.

The seven stars of matariki / maths

We looked at a photo of the seven stars of Matariki . We talked about polygons . Polygons are shapes we used . We had to use the piosition or the stars to create different shapes .The most simple polygan i made was a diamond . The most complex or different polygon i made was square.

Canterbury league

Today some of the people in my class went into the hall for a sprints pass,and other drills. It was quit  fun everyone was going crazy i really wanted to do it again. After we finished we toke a photo with a shield that was a trophy here is the photo.
